Airline Accessibility Contacts: Special Assistance, Phone Numbers & Resources

Updated for 2026: Airline contact methods and accessibility resources were reviewed and refreshed in August 2026. This directory is maintained as an ongoing resource and was originally published in 2023.

Equal Accessibility has curated this list of airline accessibility departments, including the airlines special assistance websites, phone numbers, and additional resources.

Airlines serving the United States must provide disability-related assistance under the Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA) and its implementing regulation, 14 CFR Part 382. Travelers can request assistance when booking or managing a trip, at the airport, or by contacting the airline.

If an accessibility issue cannot be resolved at the airport, ask to speak with the airline’s Complaints Resolution Official (CRO). Airlines must make a CRO available by phone or in person during their operating hours. The U.S. Department of Transportation also accepts consumer complaints after the airline has had an opportunity to respond.

Below is a comprehensive list of major airlines’ accessibility departments, including direct links to their accessibility information and phone numbers for assistance. This list covers both U.S. and international carriers.
